Why did we decide to create our own task management app, rejecting dozens of ready-made tools on the market?
Lack of a suitable tool
The project began from frustration with existing solutions. Most popular to-do apps were overloaded with unnecessary features, lacked key functionalities (from the creator's perspective), or required paid subscriptions to unlock basic integrations.
The main business goal was simple: To create a free, tailor-made tool that instantly streamlines daily work, allows for effortless recording of specific actions, and prevents them from being forgotten. Instead of wasting time testing more apps from Google Play, we decided to take matters into our own hands.
Kluczowe funkcjonalności
Aplikacja została zaprojektowana z myślą o maksymalnej szybkości działania. Oto co znalazło się w pierwszej wersji (MVP):
- Rozpoznawanie mowy (Voice to Text): Integracja z Google Speech-to-Text pozwala na dodawanie zadań w biegu. Aplikacja bezbłędnie transkrybuje intencje użytkownika na konkretne taski.
- Zaawansowane zagnieżdżanie (Drzewo Zadań): Możliwość tworzenia nielimitowanych podzadań (np. Projekt Pizzeria -> Zakupy -> Kawa -> Konkretna marka). Zapewnia to porządek nawet w bardzo złożonych projektach.
- Personalizowane Kategorie: Elastyczny system tagowania zadań (np. Dom, Zakupy, IT, Programowanie) z dedykowanymi ikonami i kolorami, co ułatwia szybkie filtrowanie.
- Dashboard i Statusy: Szybki podgląd na zadania Aktywne, Gotowe i Ważne, z wbudowanym systemem alarmów przypominających.
UI & Design System
The app is built on a modern Dark Mode interface that reduces eye strain and highlights task statuses using saturated neon accents. The nesting structure relies on minimalist indents and subtle gray guide lines, guaranteeing clear hierarchy visibility.

Typography
A clean sans-serif typeface was used (e.g., Inter or Roboto). White text (#FFFFFF) for headings and gray (#9CA3AF) for secondary descriptions ensure optimal contrast (WCAG) on a dark background.
Iconography
The Material Design Icons library (built into Flutter) was utilized. This ensures visual consistency, instant symbol recognition, and crisp scaling across mobile devices without quality loss.
Technologies and Process
("Vibe Coding")
This project is a prime example of leveraging AI within the development workflow. I adopted a Vibe Coding approach: the entire application (architecture, code, design, UX/UI, optimization, and testing) was authored and refined in close collaboration with AI tools (Gemini).

Results & What's Next
In less than a week, a free, reliable tool was built that instantly streamlined daily time management. It serves as proof of how agile methodologies and AI assistance can drastically shorten the delivery time of valuable software.
Future Plans (Roadmap)
The project is continuously evolving. Upcoming features planned for deployment include:
- Google account sign-in integration.
- Cloud task synchronization across multiple users.
- Task assignment for teams and shared project workspaces.
- An "access code" system to create virtual organization spaces.
